Dream A Little Dream

I'm going to tell you about a dream I had last night.

Tell me what you think it means.

It's bedtime, and I'm getting ready for bed. There's a storm outside, very bad.

It's morning now.

I wake up and head to the bathroom for a shower. I hang my towel and, still groggy from sleep, I'm wondering how come I can see through the ceiling. I see trees and whatnots.

Hmm..

Then I hear a hiss.

I see it on the corner, perched where a little bit of the ceiling it still intact. Had the roof been ripped off during the storm? I suppose so.

I can see the snake, but not the head. Damn.

I notice something else. It's between me and the door. Double damn.

I see the head, it's reared to strike.

I try to move to the door. It strikes. I dodge. Miss!

But not the second time. It sinks its teeth in the flesh between my thumb and index finger of my right hand.

I grab it's neck with my other hand, pull it off and hold on to it as I run from the bathroom, looking for my mother. I find instead my two maids, and they're screaming and I scream along with them. It was a beautiful chorus. =D

My mother, brother-in-law and sister come a-running, eyes bugged as they see what I have in my hands. My brother-in-law takes the snake away from me.

I promptly fainted.

I came to just as a doctor finished bandaging my hand. I feel awful. Funnily enough, all I can think about that would make me happy was shisha. I was craving it. (Paya, I have you to thank for this, I think.)

I lay down there a long time, slipping in and out of consciousness.

I felt safe.

Then I finally woke up, but something was wrong. I didn't feel safe anymore. I think that was due to the fact that I could see a gazillion spiders crawling around in the room.

My housemate Ann then knocks on the door. I wake up.

I felt a faint throbbing on my left hand, I glanced at it and see that it didn't have twin holes poked through it. Hmm...

"A snake ready to strike means treachery from one you least expected; killing it means victory over enemies."

Got thiS off one wEbsite.heHe.

"To see a snake or be bitten by one in your dream, signifies hidden fears and worries that are threatening you. Your dream may be alerting you to something in your waking life that you are not aware of or that has not yet surfaced. The snake may also be seen as phallic and thus symbolize dangerous and forbidden sexuality. The snake may also refer to a person around you who is callous, ruthless, and can't be trusted. As a positive symbol, snakes represent transformation, knowledge and wisdom. It is indicative of self-renewal and positive changes."

aNd yet anOther one.

p/s : in the dreaM u weRe bittEn on ur riGht but afteR that u feLt throBbinG on ur Left? intereSting.

I'm interested in that "seen as phallic" *laughs*

And I'm surprised you notices, but yes that kind of bothered me too. I was thinking balik-balik whether it bit me on the right or left, but it really was the right. Skali bangun my left yang throbbing. I'm wondering what that means.0_o
