Emotions Taking Me Over

It's been (almost) another month.

I've basically been living the life of a nomad. Moving around from my own place in Puchong, to Rini's house in Kelana Jaya, and my brother's place here in Mayang Jaya. Let me tell you, it's hard work. Tiring, but I'm happy.

Happy.. Emotions..

Suppressing emotions is not an easy thing to do. At least for me it isn't. I am used to venting each and every one of them. When I'm frustrated and feel like screaming, I go ahead and scream. When I feel giddy, I'll most likely tear my sides from laughing.

Suppressing them is a bit like play-acting I guess. You feel one thing but project (or try to) another. You feel like grabbing someone and hugging them, planting a gazillion kisses, but instead learn to just smile and pat them on the shoulder.

It's a challenge. Delicious when you've succeeded in fooling other people about how you really feel or what you're really thinking.

But still, in the long run, frustration builds up. It comes to a point where you really don't care, and just, in a moment of insanity, just spew out - matter-of-factly - how it really is. That in itself is a rush. You don't have any control over how the other party (or parties) might react, so you just concentrate on what you do.

When I say manage emotions, I only mean the really distressing, incapacitating emotions. Feeling emotions is what makes life rich. You need your passions.
