Selamat Selamat Hari Raya

*sigh*

Alright. I have to admit, that when I'm back home, I don't care about things like cell phones or the internet. So, it was pretty hard to think of blogging when I wasn't even thinking of anything but being home and being away from everything else =D Forgive me?

So, Hari Raya. What better day to camwhore than the day when you're obviously all prettied up? =D Everybody was in on it. I took some time to capture the food and the people (yes, I DID take pictures of people other than myself. I'm not that selfish =P), but I have to say, by the time I took pictures of the dishes, they were all nearly gone! *laughs* It was a beautiful day, the lighting was perfect! I was too busy to use my manual settings though, so it was auto all the way (Oh so what?!).

On the third day of Raya, I went down to KK for 3 days, just to see some friends. Meetings varied from clubbing (during Syawal, no less =P) to eating. I didn't get to see Massy and Rum as planned, but everything was so rushed, so that's okay. I'll be going back in December, so Mas, lets make sure we see each other on a weekend. =P

After the 3 days were up, my brother and I drove back to Sandakan. Well, I drove, and he was just there. *ahem* It was my first time driving for such a long period of time and over such distance. It wasn't easy on my *ahem* posterior, let me tell you. As it turned out, a landslide happened in Ranau the night before, so when we got to that spot, we had to wait nearly an hour for them to move the soil away from the road. What were to do? *big smile*






Of course, you saw that one coming. A camera is always good to have around, just in case you're bored.

I realise that lately, my posts have been shallow what-I've-been-up-to ones. I promise, after the 2 or 3 days that I'm giving myself to wallow in self-pity (because I'm once again away from home), I shall try to dredge up some "depth" and try to post something intelligent. No promises. =P
